These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Dacasto website at dacasto.com and related pages (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Dacasto is an established Italian family brand rooted in Alba, Italy, with a long history in artisan baking. The Site provides information about our craft, story, and Toronto-area locations, including Dacasto Gran Pasticceria at 37 King St E, Toronto, ON M5E 1J4.

The Site is primarily informational. Panettone preorders submitted through the Site are requests, not paid online checkouts. Submitting a preorder does not complete a purchase until we confirm it with you. Purchases, menus, and services at our physical locations or partner sites are subject to the policies and availability of those locations.

You may use the Site for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes, including to:

• Learn about Dacasto and our locations;
• Contact us with questions, catering requests, or panettone preorders;
• Follow links to related Dacasto properties, such as La Baciata.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law;
• Attempt to interfere with the Site's security or operation;
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content through our forms;
• Scrape, copy, or republish Site content for commercial use without our prior written permission.

Contact, catering, and panettone preorder forms on the Site allow you to send us a message or request. Submitting a form does not create a confirmed paid order, reservation, or contract. We will review your request and respond separately. Any order or catering engagement is subject to availability, final selection, pricing (including delivery), and confirmation with our team.

Please provide accurate contact information so we can reply. We may decline requests that are incomplete, unavailable on the requested date, or outside the scope of services we provide.

The Site may link to third-party websites, including labaciata.ca and social media profiles. Those sites are operated independently and are not controlled by Dacasto. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

The Site and its content, including text, photography, branding, graphics, and design, are owned by Dacasto or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view and share links to pages on the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written consent, except as allowed by law.

The Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for general information. We strive to keep information accurate, including store hours, addresses, and product descriptions, but details may change without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dacasto disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the Site and its content, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Dacasto and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Site will be limited to the amount you paid to use the Site, if any, or CAD $100, whichever is greater.

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page shows when they were most recently revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Site, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
